Listed below are just some of the topics* that the Dean and Faculty have expertise in presenting seminars, workshops and/or educational training to church ministries. Of course, Dean George W. Ward will be the facilitator along with other qualified presenters.
I. The Five-fold Ministry Gifts - An examination of the ministry gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelism, pastor and teacher. Discover how these gifts function together in the church to prepare God's people for works of service. This study will help many understand God's call on their lives.
II. PRAYER - "Praying Heaven to Earth" - Exploring the different kinds/types of prayers; identifying hindrances to prayer; learning how to pray the Word of God, etc.
III. What the Bible Says to the Ministers - Understanding your call to the ministry. As a minister, you have been given the greatest privilege and responsibility in the entire world: called to be a minister of the living God- called by the Sovereign Lord and Majesty of the universe.
IV. Understanding the Doctrines of the Bible - Introduction to seven doctrines of the Christian Faith that are fundamental beliefs of Christianity.
V. Money Matters: Tithing & Stewardship - "In God We Trust" - understanding biblical principles of seed and harvest and how to release victory in your life through giving.
VI. Pulpit Ethics & Etiquette, Worship Evaluation, Sermon Assessment/Evaluation, and the Different Kinds of Sermons - Participants will learn a description of at least 14 different kinds of sermons; Church decorum, how to evaluate a worship experience and sermons. An overview of Homiletics.
VII. Fasting for Spiritual Breakthrough - Introduction to the history of fasting, the nine fasts in scripture, the purpose of fasting and the kinds of fasts.
VIII. The Assignment - Understanding your God-given assignment.
IX. Gifts and Ministries in the New Testament Church - an overview of over 40 gift ministry, scriptures, definition and functions in the New Testament church.
X. Servant Leadership - Management of Human Resources and church structure.
