What makes The BIOB different from other Christian schools?
At The Bible Institute of Ormond Beach we are unique in that we endeavor to provide students with high academic standards as well as creating an atmosphere of revival and the presence of God in each class.
Can I prepare for full-time ministry at The BIOB?
Yes! Our desire is that every student that graduates from THE BIOB will be equipped to enter full-time ministry.
Does The BIOB allow students from any religious affiliation?
The BIOB is a non-denominational Christ-centered school and welcomes students from any denomination.
How much does it cost to attend The BIOB?
The cost per semester to attend The BIOB is comparable to other Christian schools. Current cost of tuition for the upcoming semester is $800.00 with a $50 nonrefundable application fee. The total is $850.00.

We do not offer federally funded programs. With prior approval we will grant a monthly payment option.
What are the requirements for admission to The BIOB?
All applicants for admission must meet the following requirements to receive consideration for admission. Applicants must have completed high school or a GED. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the beginning of the semester for which they are enrolling. Applicants must submit a completed application packet along with a $50 non-refundable application fee. Can I receive college credits for attending The BIOB?
While The BIOB is not an accredited school, we are privileged to work with a number of colleges and universities of different denominations. We are in the process of becoming accredited.
What is the minimum and maximum age requirement to attend The BIOB?
Students desiring to attend The BIOB must be at least 18 years of age at the beginning of the semester for which they are enrolling. There is no maximum age limit.
Are students required to attend chapel?
Yes. Students are required to attend chapel as it provides an important time of worship and impartation from the various speakers.
Can students go to worship services at other churches, or must they attend Emmanuel Church of the Living God?
At The BIOB we believe that being part of a congregation is an important part of a student's spiritual development, and therefore, students are required to attend church worship services each week. Students are not required to attend worship services at Emmanuel CLG unless they are members there and/or do not have a church home.
Is my relationship with the staff/faculty of The BIOB limited to the classroom?
No. Mentoring between staff / faculty and students that goes beyond the classroom is one of the primary distinctions of THE BIOB.
Does The BIOB have an Online Program and accept International students?
No.
What are the different ministries that I can be involved in?
There are many outreaches and evangelistic opportunities both local and through traveling teams that a student will be involved in while attending The BIOB. Through these outreaches, students will receive hands-on training beginning with their first semester. Active, weekly involvement in ministry is a requirement for each semester while attending THE BIOB.
Will The BIOB take field trips?
The Bible Institute of Ormond Beach will be known for taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth. There will be numerous field trips.
Does The BIOB have a dress code?
Students are expected to dress modestly as we are representing Jesus. Deviations from modest, Christ-like dress will be addressed on an individual basis.
Does The BIOB have a computer lab/research library?
Yes. Our computer lab and library is available for research papers and class projects.
Are students able to live on campus?
We are not able to provide on-campus housing. However, our hospitality department will assist you in finding lodging in The BIOB area if it is needed.
Does The BIOB have placement opportunities for students after graduation?
The BIOB does not guarantee placement but will make every attempt to assist students with placement.
What ministry experience does the The BIOB faculty have?
The faculty consists of passionate, experienced pastors; evangelists, missionaries and teachers who desire to pour themselves into the lives of students.
What areas of ministry are offered at The BIOB?
The Bible Institute of Ormond Beach areas of specialization are Missions/Evangelism, Youth Ministry, Children's Ministry, and Worship & Creative Arts. The BIOB students are trained and raised up in a selected area of ministry through intensive in-class training as well as hands-on involvement in the local church and outreaches.
When is The BIOB in session?
The Fall/Winter 2009-2010 semesters begin October through March 18th and the Spring/Summer 2010 semester begins April through June.
How many class hours a month do I take as a full time Student?
Our program is part-time and meets once each month.
